What keeps someone working at the same company for over 25 years? Well, if you’re Dan Cokley, Civil Services Sector Leader for SGM, it’s working with great people on intriguing projects in great locations that keeps you engaged. Dan began working at SGM in 1990, and quickly lent his expertise to large-scale developments such as Aspen Highlands Base Village, Maroon Creek Club, and River Valley Ranch, along with municipal clients such as the Town of Vail and City of Aspen.
When asked about the future, Dan believes SGM’s outlook is bright, and can see the company continue to build on its success by expanding its service area and providing additional services to meet client’s growing needs. But what makes him most optimistic about the future of SGM is precisely what is at its core today: great people. “Along with the high-quality engineering that we provide, SGM employees have an ingrained dedication to building relationships with the clients and communities we serve. That commitment is key to SGM’s success, and why I continue to enjoy working at SGM.”
